How to set up out of an automatic reply email message for Gmail ？

In the Gmail App:

Step 1: First off, you need to open the Gmail app on your device.

Step 2: Next up, you continue to tap the three horizontal bars in the top left corner.

Step 3: All you have to do is to select the Settings icon, which is similar to a gear.

Step 4: Here, it is time to turn on Vacation Responder.

Step 5: Now, you have to select your start and end date.

Step 6: After that, you continue to type your auto email’s subject and message.

Step 7: In case preferred, you can also choose to turn on, “only send a response to people in my Contacts”.

Step 8: Finally, you simply need to tap Save at the top.

The out of office reply will automatically toggle off in case you set an End date. Otherwise, you can visit Settings in the Gmail app and toggle off Vacation Responder, after that, you continue to tap Save.

Step 1: You log into Gmail.com.

Step 2: Next up, you continue to tap the Settings icon, which is similar to a gear in the upper right corner.

Step 3: Here, you simply need to choose Settings.

Step 4: Then, you continue to scroll down until you see Vacation Responder.

Step 4: All you have to do is to check the box Vacation responder on.

Step 5: It is time to choose your start and (optional) end date.

Step 6: After that, you have to enter your auto reply email’s subject line and the message.

Step 7: Now, you can see an optional box and check for sending the auto-reply email to only people in your contacts, in case preferred.

Step 7: Lastly, you simply need to click Save Changes.

Your out of office reply will automatically toggle off in case you set an end date. Otherwise, you can follow the same steps to check the “Vacation Responder off” box and save the changes.
